There are people who have achieved their goal through technology and they are fascinating and also helping us by creating their new inventions of technology. I am going to tell you about some of these TECHNOLOGY TRAILBLAZERS who have helped us much!!
1)Linus Torvalds
"A computer is like Air Conditioning - it becomes useless when you open Windows".
Linus Torvalds was born in Finland and later immigrated to the United States.He went to college in Finland and got his Master's degree in Computer Science. In 1991, he developed an operating system. After developing it, he announced it in an Internet newsgroup. He made the source code available and asked readers for suggestions to enhance the product. Computer users responded by reviewing the system and offering enhancements. Three years later, he released the greatly enhanced version, Linux.
He is known for his creation and lead architect role for the first open source operating system kernel. He is also known as one of the pioneers in the open-source community.
2)Jeffrey Preston Bezos
"We can't be in survival mode. We have to be in Growth mode".
Jeffrey Preston Bezos is an American technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist, who is best known as the founder, chairman, and the chief executive officer of Amazon, the world's largest online shopping retailer.
As a child, he spent his days laying pipes, vaccinating cattle and fixing windmills at his grandfather's Texas ranch. He attended Miami Palmetto Senior High School and took his B.S.c degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University. He worked on Wall Street and became the youngest Vice President at D.E. Shaw & Co. Despite Success, he decided to quit the field of finance. He founded Amazon.com, an online store. He has constantly been improving his website and introducing improved facilities for his customers.
3)Steve Jobs
"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition".
Popularly known as the "Father of the Digital World", Steve Jobs was and still continues to remain legendary, futurist visionary who created a sensation across the globe with his personal computer revolution! The founder of Apple Inc, Pixar Animation Studios and NeXT Inc. Jobs gave information technology it's life and blood.
A master of innovation, he was known for his perfectionist attitude and futuristic vision. During his years at the apple, he administered the development of the iMac, iTunes, iPad, iPhone, and iPod. He was the mastermind behind the working of the company's Apple Retail Stores, iTunes Store and the App store
4)Sabeer Bhatia
"Don't be Afraid to tread a new ground, but do a sanity test".
Sabeer Bhatia is an Indian entrepreneur, who founded the email company Hotmail.com. After graduation, Sabeer briefly worked for Apple Computer and Firepower Systems Inc. He, along with his colleague Jack Smith, set up Hotmail on 4 July 1996, American Independence Day, symbolizing "freedom" from ISP-based e-mail and the abilty to access a user's inbox from anywhere in the World.
Microsoft acquired Hotmail in 1997. In July 2011, Hotmail 360 million registered users. In August 2012, Microsoft revamped Hotmail and renamed it as Outlook.com.
5)Marissa Mayer
"When you need to innovate, you need collaboration".
Marissa Mayer was born on May 30, 1975, in Wausau, Wisconsin. She led the development of Google's most successful products for more than 10 years and appointed CEO of Yahoo in 2012, at the age of 37.
Prior to joining Yahoo, she spent 13 years at Google, where her work in product development largely contributed to Gmail, a free email service; Chrome, a web browser; Google Maps, a mapping and directions service; and Google Earth, which provided detailed satellite images of Earth.
At the time of Mayer's Yahoo appointment, she was one of the only 20 female CEO's in charge of a Fortune 500 Company. In 2017, she resigned from Yahoo! when it's core assets were sold to Vericon Communications.
